Perfect Peeks
Getting pre-fired before you even have visibility while swinging the angle SUCKS, in CS2 every millisecond of ping matters. While it won't work for everyone, using Arrive can help stabilize your connection and reduce packet loss, so your shots register when you need them to, and you have a chance at peeking corners!
- First, download and install Arrive.
- Make sure CS2 is the currently selected game.
- Enable CS2, and select a server close to you. You may benefit from playing around with different servers to find the best match for you. Note that changing servers during a match can cause instability for the remainder of the match.
- Turn Arrive ON.
- Launch CS2 and make sure the matchmaking regions you select in-game line up with the region of the Arrive server you chose.
Note
- Arrive optimization only works on Official Valve/CS2 servers.
- The default in-game overlay toggle for Arrive is
Ctrl+P(this is configurable in settings).
Competitive Suggestion
For lowest ping, we recommend you go to CS2 Settings > Game and set "Max Acceptable Matchmaking Ping" to the lowest value that works reliably for your location. Lowering this setting may increase queue times, so adjust accordingly based on your preferences.
